Your holiday homework was set during the 2015/16 Promotion program - to read Mao's Last Dancer and write Chapter Summaries.

The good news is that these will be the last summaries you do this year as I am not a huge fan of them. I prefer a different way of recording your reading which I will share with you when we read the next text.

TASK 1 - Read the Autobiography:
We will do a quiz in class which will allow me to check that you have read the text, and understand how closely you have read it.

TASK 2 - Write Chapter Summaries
Your summaries are due on XXXXX. Please email or hand them in as soon as you have completed them. The rubric for this task is MLD Chapter Summaries RUBRIC You will see in the rubric that there are two areas to focus on when writing summaries - CONTENT and CONCEPTS. Check that you have included these in your work before you hand them up.
